Floral Frames of Faith

Good morning to you all!  When I was out at Goodwill I saw this picture frame.  It is made of heavy cardboard and folds up like a small book.  You can stand this frame up and display it also.  I have a patient going through a rough time and I had an idea of what to do with this folding frame so I could give it to her.  Check it out below.

The triple frame is gorgeous on it's very own.  I used PictureMonkey to print out the words, then I cut them out and popped them into the frames.  I hope she likes it and I hope it will give her encouragement.  Have a great day! - Heidi

Ciao Bella - literally!

I said I would make a bunch of cards using the Ciao Bella stack that I bought at Michael's and I did.  Now the paper is gone except for a few sheets that I didn't like so that will go in my rummage sale this Summer.  Here are the cards I made from the DCWV stack.

Above & below use Pink Pirouette and Pretty in Pink for their card bases.  The remainder of the 12 X 12 sheet was cut up and used inside the card.

The card below is my favorite as I just love the color scheme.  The Baja-like blue and Pumpkin Pie look awesome together!  The bird is fussy cut and popped up, but the picture doesn't show it well.

The base for the next two cards is Plum Pudding from Papertrey Ink.  I am almost grateful that I could no longer afford to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator.  I hated being limited to what supplies I could use!  I have a love of papercrafting and want to use it all!

The bird on the left is fussy cut and popped up.  The sentiment is from the paper stack.

All of the dies used here are from Provocraft.  They are the dies that came with Cuttlebug embossing folders in a pack.  They are great for quick words!

The card bases below are Real Red.

The card bases for these cards are So Saffron.  I love how the words POP out on these cards.

Card bases below are Primrose Petals, Regal Rose & Pretty in Pink.  The first two cards are one sheet of paper split and the next card is the flowers all together.

Ruby Red, an oldie, but goody rounds out the card base for the next two cards.

A Real Red card base on this last card.

To see the other Ciao Bell cards I made click here, here or here.  Thanks for looking - Heidi.

Another Ciao Bella card

Yet another card from the DCWV Ciao Bella stack.  The birds and banner are fussy cut and popped up.  The words are from Cuttlebug. - Heidi

Itty Bitty punches cards

I bought the Merry Minis punch pack (2012 Holiday catalog) and the Little Labels punch pack (2012-2013 IB&C).  What the heck was I thinking as I couldn't figure out what to do with them!  Enter in the right sketch and card layout and wham-o you have the following two cards!  They are 5 1/4" square and fit into Stampin' Up square envelopes.  I see that Stampin' Up no longer carries these envelopes, however.

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade & Very Vanilla
Paper: Festival of Prints DSP
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade
Stamps: Merry Minis, Essential Sentiments from Amuse
Dies: Labels One from Spellbinders
Accessories: Lucky Limeade ribbon
Punches: Merry Minis punch pack, 3/4" & 1" circle

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla & Island Indigo
Paper: Festival of Prints DSP
Ink: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler & Island Indigo
Stamps: You're a Gem, Lovely Little Labels
Dies: Labels One from Spellbinders
Accessories: Island Indigo ribbon
Punches: 3/4" & 1" circle & Little Labels punch pack

Graphic 45 frame card

The above card is made from Graphic 45 paper called Once Upon a Springtime.  They have these sheets with frames on them.  I punched the window out and used some Tim Holtz crackle glaze to give it a cracked effect.  Then I rubbed a little distress ink on it so the cracks would show up better.  Sorry, the picture is very poor.  The flowers were part of the frame, but I added a little to them using the trio flower punch from Stampin' Up, adhesive pearls and a Soft Suede marker.  I believe that punch is retired.  The close up of my flower embellishments is below.

I am hooked on tea cups, it would appear.  Again I used the tea cup image from Stampin' Up's Tea Shoppe stamp set and enlarged it 150%.  Then I cut it out of the Paisley Petals DSP.  I made my own tea bags using white paper and vellum and the tags punches from Stampin' Up.  The tea bag tags have a message stamped on them using Fabulous Phrases and the sentiment is from All Holidays.
