Whoo-hoo a ribbon rack finally!
Ernesto, my husband, told me he was bored yesterday so this is what we did. I had the idea in my head for a while, but never put it to paper. We live in an apartment and don't have easy access or space for a "workroom." If we made the rack I knew it'd be messy and I would end up having to clean it up! I needed my ribbons out of the closet and where I could see them! If you click on the picture you can see the rack better.
I purchased the over-the-door-wreath-hangers from Hobby Lobby when they had Christmas stuff on sale. I knew that if I wanted a ribbon rack in an apartment it'd have to be mobile. They worked perfectly and the total cost of materials for this rack was $22.00. Thanks to the guy in the lumberyard at Menards in Sturtevant, Wisconsin for cutting the 1" X 4" X 12' board into the sizes we needed! We just has to drill and cut dowels and in no time I had my ribbon rack. It took me longer to organize the ribbon than it took us to build it! I love it and we can take it with us when we leave here.

What a bargain for such a functional organizer. Thanks for sharing!
