Valentine's Day projects
I had an idea for a Specialty class - a Sizzix Valentine Occasion Class. Each project uses two sizzix dies available through Stampin' Up. I got the heart idea from another blog, but changed it around. It uses the petal card and Bitty Box and Envelope die. There is still something missing despite the fact that it holds chocolate.
The second project uses the scalloped envelope and the blossom party dies. It's a simple little note card in the scalloped envelope made from vellum. - Heidi
Trio Flower punch and new specialty paper
I made this envelope with the Stampin' Up Bitty Box & Envelope die. Then I added the Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware to the front. Here's the kicker - the new Sending Love Specialty Paper from Stampin' Up (available January 5th) fits the trio flower punch perfectly! If you look at the pictures there are so many ways to use the punch with the new paper. Even a scrap of the glittery part will make a cute flower (bottom left of above picture). That's a great UPSELL idea. This envelope will be part of a card that I am going to make once I borrow the scalloped heart embosslit from my friend Karen. - Heidi

Mojo 119
I was already working on this bird when I decided to check out MOJO this week. Perfect! I was already half way there. I love the new bird punch that will be available from Stampin' Up on January 5th. Have a great day! - Heidi

Joy Christmas Cards
What do you do when it is raining outside in Wisconsin on Christmas Eve? Why make Christmas cards and pray the rain doesn't freeze!
I saw a version of this on Stamper's Showcase on Stampin' Up's demo website. I made many versions with different SU DSP. I have a ton of it and this is great for using up scraps. My favorite is at the top using Holiday Lounge paper. It is simple and a great way to maximize the use of the ornament punch and the Serif Essentials Bigz Alphabet Die Set by Sizzix - both available from Stampin' Up. I don't do simple most of the time. I had to hold myself back to keep from adding a brad or ribbon or something!!!! Have a great day! - Heidi

Christmas Card Case #1
Christmas Card Set # 3
I have been busy with things other than school! I designed this set of cards for my fellow sideline, Karen. She did a specialty class where you pay $25.00 and go home with three cards with matching insides and envelopes, a plastic case with matching sleeve and a full pack of the paper you chose to make the cards with. That's a great deal. Here is the Christmas Cocoa paper.
