Flowers, fathers and dresses

I am playing catch-up on cards I have made, but not posted.

The above card was inspired by my friend Beth.  She sent me a picture of a card box she made and the cover had something similar on it.  I stamped the Pleasant Poppies over the French Script background and water colored the flowers in.  The sentiment is from Fabulous Florets.

I still love these dies from Papertrey Ink!  The Man & Wife are so cool!  Instead of a wedding card like this one here I decided to have the man go solo for a Father's Day card.  What do you think?

I ordered the dress up framelits dies from Stampin' Up, but haven't really had the chance to play with them yet!  So sad, I know!  I also scored the big button border die from my local Goodwill store and I attached several buttons over it.  I still need to make an envelope for it, but I don't think it turned out too bad.  It needs a sentiment or something else, I think. - Heidi

One layout - three ways

While browsing through the new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog I found this layout on page 39.  I decided to make a few cards with that layout.  The above card uses Teeny Tiny Wishes, Nature Walk and Kindness Matters stamp sets from Stampin' Up.  I have cut apart the butterflies in that set in order to use them separately.  Just because the sticker shows them together doesn't mean I can't cut them apart, right!?

I decided to use more retired DSP and make this card.  The colors are Peach Parfait, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  The stamps are Fabulous Florets, Itty Bitty Buds and Short & Sweet,  I stamped some Itty Bitty Buds on Peach Parfait cardstock and then punched them out with various small flower punches.

Why do I need a stamp for the main image?!  I used the owl builder punch and stamped the graduation hat from Little Layers Plus and then cut it out.  The sentiment is Teeny Tiny Wishes again. - Heidi

Paper Pal Arts 80

I love this sketch from Paper Pal Arts. I loved this card by Mike Funke. The card below is a near copy of his card. The card above is a version using newer Su stuff and the foliage dies from Spellbinders.

The card below is ALL SU and all current. I love all of these cards and the sketch is awesome. I need to start participating in their challenges! - Heidi
