A Christmas CASE from Target

I do a lot of "idea wandering" it would seem.  That is where I wander around stores looking for color ideas or card ideas.  I was at Target and I saw the card below.  Loved it, so I reproduced it in my own Heidi way!

I used Night of Navy and white.  The dies are from Papertrey Ink.  The stamp is from A*Muse.

Have a great Thanksgiving - Heidi.

Itty Bitty punches cards

I bought the Merry Minis punch pack (2012 Holiday catalog) and the Little Labels punch pack (2012-2013 IB&C).  What the heck was I thinking as I couldn't figure out what to do with them!  Enter in the right sketch and card layout and wham-o you have the following two cards!  They are 5 1/4" square and fit into Stampin' Up square envelopes.  I see that Stampin' Up no longer carries these envelopes, however.

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade & Very Vanilla
Paper: Festival of Prints DSP
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade
Stamps: Merry Minis, Essential Sentiments from Amuse
Dies: Labels One from Spellbinders
Accessories: Lucky Limeade ribbon
Punches: Merry Minis punch pack, 3/4" & 1" circle

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla & Island Indigo
Paper: Festival of Prints DSP
Ink: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler & Island Indigo
Stamps: You're a Gem, Lovely Little Labels
Dies: Labels One from Spellbinders
Accessories: Island Indigo ribbon
Punches: 3/4" & 1" circle & Little Labels punch pack

Hope you enjoy!  Have a great night - Heidi

iPod Touch and s'mores

I have two very different cards for you today.  I really like them both!

The above card uses no stamps at all!  I wanted a s'more image, but I couldn't find any line drawings I liked online.  I printed the s'more and the sentiment and then used my dies to cut them out.  I made this card for my anniversary - 10 years we have been married.

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip and More Mustard (the perfect graham cracker color, who knew?)
Ink: printer
Stamps: none
Dies: circles, grommet tags and lacey circles from Spellbinders, word window from Amuse
Accessories: More Mustard brads, Stripes Embossing folder from Stampin' Up.

This card uses a recycled ad that I got from a textbook company in a mailer.  I simply cut a piece of Whisper White to cover their words and stamped the greeting on it.  I love this - it looks just like a real iPod Touch.
Cardstock: Basic Black
Paper: Brights DSP stack
Ink: Pacific Point
Stamps: Happiest Birthday Wishes

Have a great night - Heidi
NOTE on 7.29.2012: i think this may actually be an iPhone!
