Heroes and Butterflies!

The above card uses paper that I purchased from Paper Source called Heroes & Villians. It was so boy, retro cool I had to get some! The round batman is a kid's ring - you know tha kind that come on top of a cupcake. I recycled that by cutting the prongs off and sticking it to my computer generated saying. I love this card. Too bad I don't have anymore batman cupcake rings!

The card below uses DCWV paper from the Mariposa stack. It also uses a stamp from PTI and the paper doily die from stampin up. I spritzed the doily with smooch and fed some ribbon through it. Not bad! - Heidi

Summer Smooches Wall Art

I am not a big stencil fan, but after seeing the Summer Smooches decor stencil from Stampin' Up I had to give it a try! My husband repainted the living room and I used the very paint that he used. It matches my walls perfectly. This is an 11 X 14 canvas and it was easy to do. This stencil is only going to be available in the month of April, so get one while you can! - Heidi

Lorax card

Not the best picture I have ever taken, sorry. This is the front of the kids menu at IHOP. I cut it out and made it into a card. The colors are Tempting Turquoise & Pumpkin Pie. Another fun color combo and a way to recycle! - Heidi

Dancing Chicks

Funny how the mind works? I was watching Sesame Street with my son and saw these dancing chicks counting to 12. They looked like pears with circles for legs and ovals for wings. Nip the tip off of the big star punch and punch yourself some Chocolate Chip snowflakes and you'll have a beak and feet. Sponge him a little shadow using the paper you punched the oval out of and there you are. He's plump and festive. Enjoy! - Heidi

Juicy Juice cards

Juicy Juice is running this promotion where you can collect trading cards on their juice boxes from Cars 2. Those went to my five year old. I want the front of the packages! I made them into 5 X 7 cards! I am really into the recycling thing, I guess. I'd love to know what you think. I am going to try and put up the juice boxes picture and then my card picture - let's see if I can make this work.

Here is where I am sad. I have been unable to locate this juice box pack so I do not have a Guido card to share with you. If anyone could help me locate a pack of Tropical juice boxes and would be willing to send me the package I would be so happy! I feel my creative collection is incomplete without him! - Heidi

*UPDATE*UPDATE*UPDATE*

My father was nice enough to snag not one, but two Guidos for me from Woodman's in Kenosha! So now my collection is complete! (until I get hooked on the next thing! Guido uses Lemon Tart (PTI) and Taken with Teal from Stampin' Up - Heidi
